Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll is a singer, composer, dancer and producer of Lebanese-Colombian records. She has a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame and has sold between 70 and 125 million records worldwide. This made her the best South American singer and one of the best-selling Latin artists of all time.

She is involved in philanthropic activities that are well known thanks to charity work, notably thanks to its Pies Descalzos Foundation. In 2014, she was ranked as the 58th most powerful woman in the world by Forbes.
